As noted at the time of Prestolite''s acquisition of LucasVarity''s heavy-duty starter motor and alternator business in 1998, this move leapfrogged the group from being a niche player in North America to being No. 3 in the world in the sector, with combined group sales of $300 million. Prestolite Electric Inc. has announced the Business Class Alternator (BCA) for the medium truck, class 4 through 7 market. The BCA is offered in output ranges of 12 volt, 90-115 amps and 24 volt, home 55-80 amps. The design flexibility allows for varied mounting options including the standard domestic J180 mount with a 4 in. dual foot mount and various spool foot mounts for the European markets. thermostat The new 5 3/4 in. frame size completes the Leece-Neville alternator line, filling the gap between the 5 in. and 6 1/2 in. product lines, the company said. Prestolite Electric is now offering a new technology that provides brushless-type endurance in a standard brush-type alternator package.
How easy is it to assemble a Cart? (Or, as one of our home dear customers put it, is it one-swear-word job, a two-swear-word job, or a three-swear-word job?) For the most part they are very easy to assemble. Typically, it takes between 45 minutes and an hour and a half to assemble (depending on size of Cart and accessories you are adding). The instructions are straight forward, easy to read, and we have a great support staff available weekdays between 6am and 6pm PST to offer additional assistance if needed. It is good to remember that the larger Carts are pretty heavy, and the assembly job can be much easier if there are two people working together. Some of the Carts say "bone" color and some accessories are "putty grey". I''m confused. Are those accessories just for the grey Carts?

Alder points out that in addition to Production and Engineering, Sales and Finance have metrics, as well.
