Conversion of the former Discount Auto stores to the Advance format is still ongoing, but progressing nicely. Because of the strong customer oil loyalty filter and market share Discount had in Florida, with 432 stores, the company decided to rename those units Advance Discount Auto Parts. All stores have been merchandised to the Advance format, while physical remodels take longer, and should be completed in Florida by 2005.Under Advance''s wing, the former Discount stares have performed exceedingly well. Comparable-store sales through the first two quarters were up 4.7% in those stores, beating chainwide comp gains of 1.5% for the first half.
Another time it might be a good idea to have a 28" high Cart is if you have a very large monitor. If you place a large monitor at 35", you may find that it feels too high, so the 28" Cart could be a better choice. How much weight can the cart hold? I have lots and lots of equipment. The Cart will easily hold 150 pounds. If you need to put more weight on it, please let us know and we can work with our designers to make sure that we are making the best recommendation for you. Additionally, if your Cart will be holding quite a bit of weight or needs to be very mobile, you should consider upgrading adapter the castors to a 4" castor which will provide more stability and make it the most easy to move. If you need to keep the Cart from being able to roll, you can order glides for the Cart instead of castors.
